Hey, I recently started building my own PC. it is was cheaper to do then buying a PC that is already ready-to-use. If you are not sure how to build a PC yourself or not comfortable doing it, get someone else you know or someone you know who knows a guy that maybe he knows a guy. or just go to a PC store and pay an extra £50 or something. All the best. I can’t wait to get mine up and running! especially for the skyrim creation kit out tomorrow!

I really would suggest building a pc, it is indeed cheaper if you can build it yourself and buy smartly from several different stores/online shops. My PC i built from buying at Ebuyer and Maplins websites during January Sales in 2011. saved quite a lot
My PC Specifications can be seen below in my channel info at -> http://www.twitch.tv/xedus_

For gaming, build a rig. Never ever get Alienware, it’s not that the specs are bad, it’s just a rip-off.

If you’re looking for a good gaming rig, get a real gaming PC. Don’t bother with Alienware. They’re overpriced and you can build an equivalent machine for a fraction of the price.

The real answer is neither. Alienware are made by Dell. and we all know what they’re like. although Macs and Alienware are alike, your paying for a little logo that you can show to your friends saying “hey look what i got” if you build a PC it’s cheaper, funner and it’ll be miles better imo.
